Why A Performance Endowment Fund?
For over 30 years Burnt Hills Oratorio Society’s has presented live choral concerts, and recently have become more complex and expensive. What was once free is no longer so. Government support has all but evaporated. BHOS is committed to keeping concert ticket prices and participation fees reasonable. But we yearn to do works requiring larger orchestras, such as the Brahms Requiem, which we performed last spring.

Thus, the creation of the Performance Endowment Fund (PEF).

Our goal of raising $100,000 will allow us to:

• Hire a part-time chorus manager
• Present larger-scale choral works requiring full orchestra
• Continue our commitment to supporting young singers
• Establish long-term fiscal stability
