Burnt Hills Oratorio Society Announces Annual High School Vocal Scholarship Competition
The Burnt Hills Oratorio Society (BHOS), under the direction of Dr. William Jon Gray, will hold its 23rd annual vocal scholarship competition for high school seniors. Two scholarships will be awarded along with the opportunity to perform in an upcoming BHOS concert May 17, 2020. The winner will receive a $1500 scholarship and the second-place winner will receive a $1000 scholarship. Applicants need not be planning a career in music, but the scholarships are intended to facilitate the continued study of singing in college.
To be eligible, all candidates must complete an application form which is available on our website www.bhos.us/award/ or by contacting
Susanne Margono at firstname.lastname@example.org or by mail at

Auditions will be held on Sunday, April 5, 2020 at the Calvary Episcopal Church, 85 Lake Hill Road, Burnt Hills, NY 12027, from 1 PM to 4 PM.
The winners will be announced at a reception immediately following the competition.
